The president of the company BA Vidro, Carlos Moreira, agreed with their participation in La Seda de Barcelona.
Following recent agreements, BA Vidro became the new reference industrial partner of the Catalan chemistry. In this way, the economic contributions of the Portuguese company extended the capital base in order to strengthen the position of both companies in European markets.
Moreira said it is not in their plans to promote a merger between BA Vidro and the company in which Gila Carlos Lorenzo is working for, since «it wouldn’t be interesting to anyone.»
Current commitments that La Seda has are not unknown for Moreira, who expressed in favor of long-term strategy devised by the Board of the current administration. With this plan, La Seda de Barcelona could leave behind the bad times and begin to report benefits in about three years.
